I have 'aquired' a Cobalt Qube2 server, but it is missing the PSU.

I have contacted Sun who redirected me to one of their resellers who hasn't phoned me back.

Does anyone on here have any contacts with Sun resellers? I'm after...#300-1540

AC Power supply 36 W for Cobalt Qube 2

Any help much appreciated.

It's the same as a Gateway Microserver if that helps. I had one of these pass through my hands a while back and the powersupply looks suspiciously similar to a few others. If you can wait a little while I may be able to do some research on the spec/part number. I think you'll find that the part from Sun is outrageously expensive !

Try these guys

They specialise in s/h Cisco stuff but because of their contacts and experience might know where they can get one of those PSUs.

You're not kidding Andy - £74.25 + VAT as quoted by Sun.

I'm after one of these too! Let me know if you find a supplier.

I've only ever sold 2 of these Qube's and BOTH power supplies have blown.

They must be underated or just plain crap!

I got the first replacement from a company called Equinox but I believe they went bust and the other company I tried never called back after being chased 3 times :(
