I remember some one mentioning this a few weeks ago.

 

Would any one be up for it? It would be a good day and a chance to meet up in the middle somewhere.

 

If we can get enough, make a little fun out of it and make a sort of league table for the day, North v South. Get a few people with Vid cameras to go get a few good angles and try to make a small program about it. ;)

As a point of interest I found a slip where I only ran a 13.9 and my trap speed on that was 104.51 mph so the difference is probably due to the launch.

Lol im not doubting the time, im saying the trap speed seems a little low, because you say you have around 380 wbhp it should be alot higher than that.So i just wandered what the circumstances were... General rule of thumb over the 1/4mile is Trap time = great launch

Trap speed indicates power.

The bizzare thing was that the car I was running against did a 13.507 but had a trap speed of 111.73:eek:

That time is from last year when my only mods were S-AFC, AVC-R (running at 1.1 bar) super drager, super powerflow and ap racing metal plate clutch (probably close to 350bhp?)

I've yet to do a run this year since my car was set up on the rolling road. Before the setup it was running at 1.4 bar but the engine was leaning out over 5000rpm - hence no top end power when I raced Pete.

Yep that was defo it, you were ahead off the start then level most of the way til 3rd gear... I thought you'd gone into 5th...
