ROFLMFFFFFFFAO :D:D:D I'm crying :D ****in excellent :D

sorry people i did a post and it did not show up

well i fitted it and turned it on at WOT and me and the mrs thought it was a bit faster

Then i tried it again and i dont think it made any difference (not much anyway)

I tried and it was good fun ( oh and the topic did make people laugh (even if it was at me cry cry )

Heheh watch out for my next project!!!

Burf, which dimension are you posting from?? lol no m8 seriously i really can not wait till your next project, thanks 4 the laugh im still sore :D :D :D

Hows about a nice loudspeaker which makes the sound of a dump valve? ;) Gotta be worth at least a second of your quarter mile time :D:D:D

Well i think if i want power gains then i need a new zorst as i have induction kit

What else can i do to a NA that dont cost much

Advance the timing! This can have quite an effect. HOWEVER, please please please only do this under the supervision of someone who really knows what they are doing!!! I do NOT accept ANY liability for this post but you asked ;) Exhaust headers also have a reasonable effect. Fitting will cost more than the parts though - helps if you know someone in the trade. Decat? You may already have done this. Cams - now we're getting expensive!!! You can get an NA engine to reasonably high power if you are prepared to do things carefully and well researched.

Not sure maybe a kettle some bone china and an electric blanket to go with the fan heater/blower, and if its auto why not get one of those big slippers that you put both feet in he he he he :D :D

just an idea ....... n/a engines draw in air themselves ... turbo engines have it forced in ....... but none force air through the meter it is always drawn through !!!!!!

the way u r talking about is like a ram air system .... kawasaki have been doing this for many years .... Ram air .. not dodgy electric fans ! ... if u look in the ram air snouts of a ninja you will notice small intakes, the purpose of these is to balance out the internal and external pressures in the carbs (stop engine from leaning out)... i believe the new fuel injected bikes have a similar system that tells the injection system by what rate to increasede the flow to the injectors ......

prob dosent help but sure :)

So can smething be made to ram air in?

I still got to get a zorst!

Hehehe at WOT it probably restricts airflow through the intake. I reckon it's most useful function would be to wire it backwards and use it to charge the battery ! LOL :D

Heheh watch out for my next project!!!

I have now removed the drain pipe cry cyr!

Ram air (in a bike stylee) charges the air box

As you have an induction kit, there is no air box to charge.

Also there is a lot of design goes into air paths etc. So I would drop the ram air thing.

However many thanks for trying the Electric Supercharger, I looked at the site and it made sense "bang in lots of ait at WOT, let the ECU sort out the mix, more air/fuel mix= more speed"

Glad that you tried it and proved it wrong, saving me the time , expense and laughter/tears. Good work fella
