To answer a question asked a few days back the link shows the difference between the UK standard plug on the right compared to the Japanese spec plug on the left.
The insulator nose is much shorter on the UK plug and hence is a cooler position than the Japanse spec plug, running the aformentioned on UK petrol leads to the plug possibly running too hot and possible detonation and/or misfire.
Having said that see many import zeds running fine on them, which is in part due to a good service levels but in the main charactoristics of each engine ..in my view anyway.
