Hi everyone,

I have an Amp and Sub from my previous car and wanted to move them into the Z but the prebuilt box is too deep!!!

does anyone have any templates for building a box to go in offside rear of the boot?? If not has anyone cosidered doing this as they only need to be printable so they can be put on wood for the person to cut around.

Any help with this would be greatly received.

yeah stuart something like that.

what I need is a template to copy to get it so it fits well like ur because I am no good at woodwork but could copy someone elses template.

I haven;t got a template but It very easy to meassure.

You shoul dstart off with a carboard template of your boot area that you want to have a sub in.

Once you have got a template then you can cut the base plate out of MDF.

The next stage is to lay the base plate in the boot and use a marker to draw onto it the shape of the top of the base box. The boot of the Z is thinner towards the top. You will have a bigger base than top if you see what I mean.

From there you just need to get the sides sorted. Cut out the holes for the subs, tubes and connectors and then just Mat or Vinyl the box. Simple :D.

I should have some pic's of the box in the making drop me a mail on StuartMWaterman@Hotmail.com if you need any more help.
