My daughter’s 1995 300zx NA suddenly started making this noise as she turned onto our street the other night.
She stopped and called me. I was afraid she had lost all her oil, but it was only about a quart low. The engine has about 160k. The timing belt has less than 10k. I recently replaced the AC compressor,alternator , and did a tune up on the engine.
We were able to get it the last couple hundred yards to the driveway. it does have oil pressure. I plan to cut the filter open to look for metal and drop the pan to do the same (and inspect the bottom end). Any other suggestions or thoughts on the issue would be appreciated.
