I know this is not the right place, but--

Will all the Bristol and surrounding areas Zed people please own up!

The idea is to have a local meet in the near future.

There are 3 I know of at present.

Yewcheck, Carl and myself.

Any others think this is a good idea?

Keep the Bristol meet zeds coming!

It would useful to be able to do a location search, so we could contact those not live at present.

Spring is here, birds, flowers, sunshine!!! and Zeds with lids off??

Hi guys, i,m up for a bristol meet, only 15 minutes away across severn crossing, tell us when and where and we,ll be there!!

Bristol's not all that far, in Zed terms, so I could probably make it. :) Depending on the date and how much warning I'm given! :D

I kid you not, my November & December this year already have most of their weekends filled...

Looking good for meet, we now have a few to start venturing a date and Venue.

Check your diairies for say Sunday 17th March at 12.00 ( pubs open) The old Lock and Weir/Chequers pubs by the River Avon, in Hanham, Bristol. Fairly easy to get to via.M32/ Dual carriage ring road to Hanham, then little windy road to river.

Will post map nearer time if OK.

I suggest this not only as there are two pubs next to each other, which both do nice food, but has Very large car park, and its by the river.

Date is flexible of course, but got to start somewhere!

Hope the sun starts to shine by then!

  • Author

No takers then!!!!

If anyone interested, you could suggest another location/date?

Hi Bud,

I hope to have my Zed by then.

I'll let you know nearer the time.

17th March is a Monday for a start...Did you mean the 16th - Sunday?

  • Author

Doh!, yep meant 16th march, I did say Sunday though, or if thats too short notice then 23rd March or.........!

Well any interest?

Yeah I'm mad for it...

If I can get my girlfriend to believe hanging round with a bunch of Zed fanatics in a pub is a cool idea! :p:p

:( :( In being repaired sick, or sick-sick?

Neet

the 16th is when the brighton meet is on but could do the week after if that's any good (also with missus in toe):p

both dates are fine by me, will have to bring the missus though, tell her were going shopping and only pop in for a quick beer!!,"thats all dear" ..

Either date should be fine with me. Just hoping I can get the injectors and fuel pressure reg sorted before then!!

Ill be there!!! what time ??

I spent many a p~ssed up evening in that boozer ( Lock and Weir) even played a few gigs there in my terrible band......just take care on approach to the car park..well narrow steep lane easy to scrape car against tossers on the way up , and unless they've sorted the car park surface out - look out for pot holes....apart from that - have a good one!:D

  • Author

Any time from 12.00, opening time.

The end lane is quite narrow, but only for few hundred yards, ok with care. Delivery lorries manage OK and so do I.

They have two quite large car parks, one unsurfaced which is by the river and the other you go through on the way down is tarmacced and OK.

Plenty of room outside to sit around or if wet the bars are large as well.

Food good, Sunday lunch and all that. Live bands sometimes not sure about sundays though.

Access from most parts is good, if coming via M4 Motorway, use M32 jct.1 onto ring road to Longwell green then ask!!!!? no suggest you use link map.

Look forward to seeing you all.
