Well off topic I know but 19s, what's the optimum size of wheels when it comes to performance? 18s? 17s? How does it drive with 19s? My 306 had 17s and would have been better with 16s so I was just wondering.

By coincidence,picked up Redline in local garage,something to read on nights at work this week,crap mag but the interior of the zed is very nice,a little in ya face,hate to think how much it all cost:eek: ,a pic below

With 19" wheels it tends to be a harder ride, but it makes up for it in looks. only my opinion though.

wierd paint job, ive seen that car in a video spinning round on a turntable, didnt have all that red stuff on it then and it looked nice. Why on earth you would want to add a few random bits of red all over the car god knows, but whatever turns you on i suppose :confused:

LMAO when I took out my carpet for the welding, my interior had red stuff like that too :D I thought it was just white.... :D

Clarkey, the red stuff is actually airbrushed flames and does look like flames up close... but I agree it would look far better without it.

 

Is it just me or are all modified car mags just turning into porn for teenage boys who aren't old enough to buy the real thing?

It really is getting embarrassing having to buy porn just for a few car pics and short, shite articles. I can download far better porn when i "need" it! LOL

 

I might try subscribing to some of the US mags as they seem to concentrate on the cars over there.

When they do have a few babes on the bonnet at the big shows, at least they are worth looking at unlike the cruise slappers with saggy tits that fill our "JASMA mags"! LOL

Agree totaly with ChrisC here,there turning more and more into porn mags,could not believe the adds in the back of Redline,well sad if they got to have tits on nearly every page to sell em,I have a 12 year old son who is starting to get into cars more and more,which i like as i can take him with me all over the place to shows etc(he has even driven a previous zed i had at Avon Raceway on back end off the old airfield,)i love to encourage him and often he wants a mag to read ,but the filth in these mags is out of order,he agrees and often we tear out the girly pics and he lobs em in the bin!,thank god that mags like jap performance and Banzai are not and hopefully never going to go this way!,just recently i have come across a very good mag from the states that my local gets in ,called Super Street,very upto date with latest mods etc,and the cars are awsome,i would recomend it.(latest issue has a 1320bhp Supra 8 second quarter mile):eek: ;)

Tony: you tear the pics out together and bin them? If your not careful he might end up putting in the rough? Get him buying CCC, quality mag, not enough Zs of course but not a trashy mag.

 

I think the club needs a Z to challenge that Supra too :)

Thats another reason why i don't read bike or car mags, shame really as they lose a potential audience/money from me and other men who want to see the cars not the boobs( mmm there's a radical thought:rolleyes: )

Horses for courses really. I agree that the likes of Max Power/Fast Car are utter pants, but I think it's more to do with the quality of the articles/writing rather than the number of udders on display. The majority of car mags (and bike mags) do not have all the tit's, so there is a choice.

 

Also agree on the pics of the Z in the article....... looks like someone in the car in front puked out of their window!:eek:

Turbo magazine is very good from the states, the only one i subscribe to, the rest are not really that good, JAP PERFORMANCE magazine im going of as its always got a scooby (i mean how many times can you have one in the mag/?) and they are not very professional in there write ups.

Max power and revs lol (i got that revs for the first time in about errm ever) are pretty much just trash.
