mine is going in for turbo upgrade, on monday is there anything that should be done when engine is out, that is a ba*tard to do or impossible to do with it in.

or anything i should get changed or removed.

Tony, a few things you could do.

 

1) Remove the EGR valve and its components.

2) Replace the det sensor and its harness.

3) Possibly replace the ecu harness

 

Just a few ideas I'm sure there's far more. I'll keep thinking lol

Polish and port exhaust manifolds and downpipes, maybe put EGT probes into manifolds or downpipes, depending on how safe you want to be!!

 

Maybe move det sensor to a more accesible location!
