One of the things I'm trying to get sorted this summer is the power steering leak from around the pot area. All 3 hoses that connect to it are cracking badly so wanted to swap them all.

The one I'm having issues finding is the middle one with the "b" label. From what I can tell this seems to have been available at some point on its own as 4972530P04 but is now NLAand also as a set with the hardlines, brackets and bolts (circled red on the pic) as 49790-30P01

Does anyone know if there's a silicon version available out there (Z1 and Concept Z seem to have different shaped silicon hoses for that area, assume the LHD are different - also both stores don't seem to fluoro line the majority of their power steering silicon hoses) or has anyone custom made a replacement from a rubber hose?

Actually might be wrong on that, could it be moulded into the hard line on earlier cars and is a separate piece on later cars? The routing for the pipes on the below pic looks completely different to mine, which is a JDM 92 model and is routed like the 1st pic above.

Interesting part 49790-30P01. Shows up as a set of parts with a separate (screw clamped hose) here:

https://jp-carparts.com/nissan/partlist.php?maker=nissan&type=132&fig=497A&part=4979030P01&page=1

but appears here with a crimped shell coupling (arrowed). As this a low pressure part of the system I can't see why

a suitable length of hydraulic hose and clamp can't be substituted with screw clamp. You would need to cut off the old

crimped shell connection.

Just an FYI - the diagram above (nissan4u) is for the UK/Euro PS system with cooler (item 32) which was not fitted on JDMs.

AFAIK that part of the PS system (reservoir tank connections) is the same for RHD and LHD cars.

Many thanks Andrew!

I managed to find a similar query here, with someone finding the crimped hose on his car and the separate rubber hose on his friends NA Zed:

There's a couple of parts listed on Z1, the OEM pipe 49725-30P03 on there does show up on JP-Carparts, Amayama etc under an NA engine, but I imagine it could actually be the same part as the one listed under the TT? There's also a silicon replacement but it's not fluoro lined. Z1 advise either can be used on a TT by cutting the hard line like you mentioned.

Your recommendation of getting a length of generic hose is probably the best option, in case I bugger up cutting the metal pipe and it ending up too short for those pre made hoses!
