HI all,

 

apologies if im asking a question that has been answered a thousand times before but i cant seem to find anything on his issue im having.

 

The drivers window seems seized, physically stuck solid. the relay clicks but nothing else happens. 

 

I have only owned the Z for 4 days, unsure of its history but its clearly been sat for a few years.

 

Any help greatly appreciated.

It may be the power window module has developed a fault (poor solder connections):

Sometimes you can get the thing temporarily working by pressing down on the button and thumping the door. To

fix the door card needs to come off (the same applies to a seized window motor).

Thank you Andrew, the door card is off at the minute while i was fixing the snapped door lock clip so leaving off until window is also sorted.

 

i will take a look at that guide.

 

do the motors/ regulators seize up much on Z32's?

I have a spare UK speck complete window mechanism and motor, also a passenger door.

If you need depending on where you are.

im going to re-flow and hopefully that will be all it needs ? And i dont doubt that 20 will be well spent! do i get a free sticker ; ) haha
