My passenger side wing mirror glass is smashed, the wing mirror itself is fine.

 

Is nissan the only place to go to replace?

How is the glass attached??

Something that's always affled me :confused:

The whole mirror comes apart (take the screw out thats on the underside of the mirror). I don't think Nissan sell each little bit, only the complete mirror. A rip off I know, especially as the whole mirror comes apart in minutes. Anyway, I have passenger side mirror glass you can have (motor is attached to the glass if I remember rightly). £25 if you're interested. You could try a stick on replacement glass from Halfords, but good luck finding one the right shape :-)
