Yes there the same, just make sure they give you correct ones,ie for a Z32,some of them that work there are, well, you know what i mean;)

Mate - DO NOT buy the pads from Halfords - I once did this and they where the most dangerous pads I've ever had on a car - they where Lucas pads and they cost about £34 and faded like mad when the brakes where used!

Make sure the pads you buy are a good sporting make and not just a standard pad, you dont want under performing brakes on your Z - I've been through all sorts - from PAGID pads used on Skylines from Nissan OEM to Lucas pads, to GBC Red Stuff and Green stuff and to the ones I've got on at the mo that cost be £35 and got them sourced from Phil at C&S Wood Garage. and these last pads have been great for the price. I would get them again next time round.

If the Halfords pads aint the Ferodo 2000 pads then be careful as to what they are selling you and find out before you order them.

Good point Bilky, had a few probs with Halfords a few tears back, just becouse they say there AA aproved, and there service centres AA approved, dos'nt mean the people there are!,took a 24v cosworth in for oil change and plugs once having no time to do it myself, put on a filter for a 2ltr,and plugs for 2ltr,(plugs near on melted, and at £8000 to replace an engine if it goes tits up i went ape, front of desk manager said,"well the lad that did it was a trainee"not the lads fault, but his work should of been checked, very sloppy, needles to say they aint never touching anything again,:(

Thx alot guys will go some where else to get them :-))

Not wanting to throw a spanner in the works here but I seem to remember that the NA brakes are a different size to the Twin Turbo ones. As far as I can remember, from an experience with an NA about a year and a half ago, the disc diameter is different which makes the pads a different size as well. It may be difficult to get the correct size pads/discs due to the fact that the NA was never sold in this country and therefore a lot of companies will not have the correct size listing in their books/catalogues. Best to check with a specialist like MJP or Zedworld.

Hope this helps.

Think its just the disc thickness 26mm vs 30mm thats different not the diameter. Pads should be same. In fact I think Scooby Imprezzas even use the same pads.

Got mine from Mintex about £35 and been perfect for road use.

...I've has 2 lots of pads in my na - same spec and size as tt. Green stuff lasted less than a year and I drive like a granny. Current pads from Mike at MJP...

I use standard UK TT Nissan pads in my NA and they are definitely better than the original jap pads.

They dont have the wear indicator tabs or the central score of the original, but do stop better.

You can order the originals fron Nissan for the same cost, takes 24hrs.
