Hi Folks

Looking to sell my Zed

As per the title JDM SWB TT Manual Slicktop

Not a car for the purists I'm afraid

Sadly I'm just not enjoying the car anymore and although I recently spent a chunk on it again it's time to move on.

Briefly the engine has forged internals, 555 injectors and hybrid turbos.

Coilovers, strut braces and 3 inch straight through exhaust.

Both seats in excellent condition as they had been recovered in grey leather prior to me owning the car.

Full belt change and service less than 200 miles ago.

Now running a stand alone ECU , that , sorting out a few other issues and Dyno time cost nearly £2K a couple of months ago.

Dyno print out to show 361.6bhp at 6080 revs with 499.7Nm peaking at 4446rpm

This was achieved at just under 1 bar boost so there is plenty more to be had if you want to go that way.

Power delivery on this map is far more linear than most so it will give you a good shove without the "pick your hedge" moment that it used to give me.

Whilst on the Dyno it killed the exhaust (wadding everywhere) so it's just had a custom built 3 inch from the downpipes back exhaust at a cost of £800.

No rot anywhere on it.

The car is by no means perfect, it needs a respray as the paint is very faded in places and it picked up some damage to the front lip whilst on a trailer (nothing serious an hour with filler and sand paper)

It looks better in the pictures than in real life.

Drivers side door speaker doesn't work ( loose wire, as it did work previously)

With a respray it would look incredible I think.

Why am I selling?

Well today I was due to do some rolling half mile runs on an airfield and stupidly left the filler cap of when I filled up at the petrol station, so couldn't run as I was losing fuel.

I know that doesn't sound a lot but it was the straw the broke the camels back, it seems that something thwarts me every time I go to enjoy it.

I'm not for a moment saying that I won't have another Zed, but right now I just want to clear the decks a bit.

I'm open to sensible offers, but I'm not going to give it away.

In my opinion its a good solid car and could easily be the basis for something special with a few hours and a few quid put into it.

I'm not trying to hide anything, it is what it is and obviously I would recommend viewing if you are interested.

It will have 12 months MOT on selling

Any questions please ask

Having said that it is the "rare" one being the a shortie, manual, slicktop and twin turbo.

Forgot to say it's a 92 car so the last year before catalytic converters and obviously the colour isn't standard it's a candy apple red.

Tried and failed twice on fleaBay so tarpaulin and barn time I think.

Why do people bid then not even do you the courtesy of saying I made a mistake.

If anyone on here is interested £5000 is what I'll take if not it's going into storage

Sorry it not sold mate but I’m glade you’re not giving it away. Who know, you may open the garage next year and fall in love again.
