Good afternoon gents ,

As it says in the title I’m looking for a black version R I would prefer a 2K model turbo auto or turbo manual if not crazy money.

Obviously this is aimed at members that already have one that might be thinking to sell?. If you would like an easy sale hassle free then fire me over a PM and we can go from there, also would consider a possible deal with my August 2000 version S.

Will even consider a black manual TwinTurbo late spec With tasteful mods. But (absolutely no rust or corrosion) underneath and good paintwork !

I’m not in no rush but would like to get one later on this year . Might even look at bringing one over again BUT I’ll probably do it myself this time :cowboy:

I’ve had my fun with the BMW’s but to be honest they haven’t got the character and the soul of the Z.

Hello mate hope You’re liking that HKS Exhaust? :cool3: Is that right just two wow.... Looks like ill be importing one in than, A nice Spc-R TT Auto in Black 98-00.

Dutchgolds has give me some good links ect so ill be doing all of it this time round. :detective:

Last version R I saw was a chap from Birmingham, lovely car, he unfortunately popped the engine after driving through a flood, we replaced the engine with a good used one from a 93 car, with the intention of rebuilding the 1999/2000 one, but he sold the car before that was done. It was black with black and red dotted seats, all the later spec add ons, well nice.

Manual, I'll have you know! :ninja: Also not in the UK, but there are a few more in the UK.

Sorry bud thought yours was an auto for some reason, would be nice to find / see any other R's if any are lurking in a garage somewhere.

PS prices in Japan are stupid expensive Now for Ver S and R

Good news Stephen but make sure you check it out well. Is it on an auction site and what grade?

With your specific requirements it might also be worth contacting Zone - if you can find an interpreter, as they don't speak English!

Hello guys I’m still looking. My maximum budget is 10 K for mint Example. Could possibly go slightly more for the right one? But please be realistic with prices like I mentioned previously I’m not paying crazy money.

I don’t like to be Mr Negative here [but], it’s very unlikely that you will find a mint condition Version R Twin Turbo for less than 20k now. Finding one at all (with your specific search criteria) is your biggest challenge so you would be at the mercy of whatever the seller wants for it! It’ll also come down to your interpretation of “mint condition”.

The values are only going one way and as soon as the late models are over 25 years old, our friends over the pond will open the gates and go mad for them. I think this has been partly responsible for the price hikes in the recent years as they’re paying a premium for RHD JDM cars!

As mentioned in my previous post I would consider a black twin turbo Ie (Non-version specific).

You mention about coming of age for imports and opening the gates, I think you’ll find majority of those are for Supras GTRs RX7s ect.

Unfortunately there’s never been a high demand for this platform like the others which is a shame because they are wonderful when maintain right and are preserved.

Probably another reason why a lot of them stay for sale for so long The higher-priced ones, because the market isn’t as strong in the UK for them like it is in Europe.

I hope they do go up more within reason, I can sell my Mint 2000 Ver-S for more money’s! same one over in Japan are close to 10k and the 5 speeds TT are going for 20k

At the end of the day it is what a buyer is willing to pay truthfully not what we expect or want

Yeah, you probably won't get any series six twin turbo for that budget. It's not much more than my NA cost four years ago.

I was more referring to values of the Z32 over in the US where they’re paying a premium for JDM cars but are not yet legally allowed to import cars younger than 25 years old. I do agree though, there are other import cars fetching much higher price tags than the Z32.

May I ask why you are specifically looking for late spec cars? Is there anything specific or a particular reason why you wouldn’t consider an earlier model (which many would argue are superior cars), it would open up your market and get you a decent example for your budget.

Mate, if it’s a Na auto Ver-R I’ll be happy.

I’ll seriously consider a 90+ it’s black tt with good paint and no rust.

That song has just popped into my head ....

Goes a little something like this, I’ve got a passion in my pants and I’m not afraid to show it show it show it!:shifty:

Funny the way things work out.... I’ve just been in contact with an old friend and he’s got a Black Ver-S TT that was imported last year from The land of the rising sun.

It’s got some excellent Gucci bits with it

I’m very excited and can’t wait to pick it up!

Will post the photos soon.
