Rear Nissan Perspex Strip

Hi!

As the title says, I'm replacing my stock spoiler and am now in need of a rear perspex strip (Preferably without break light, but I'm not too bothered either way). I have seen them for sale on ZCentre for £55 however postage is £30 which just seems insane to me so thought I'd try my luck here see if anybody is selling. :cool3:

These are fragile to ship mate, I personally just went to my local Nissan dealership and asked them to get me a brakelight one, that way if it got damaged it's Nissan's problem. I kept mine at the dealership until I needed it as it was their responsibility until i collected it. I've heard of people stepping on them in their shed, placing boxes of parts on them etc, it all equals a broken strip. I tend to search for a decent priced one and then haggle with my local dealerships parts guy, who always comes close in price minus any shipping :whistling:

Thanks for the advice Richie. do you know a part number for this? I'v never bought parts from a dealer before.

Thanks again! I had heard these are fragile, but the handling information just crazy. Looking forward to it shattering into a thousand pieces when I come to fit it.

Nissan Dealerships Parts Dept's love people who walk in with the correct part no. (A lot of them will tell you it's not available as they can't be bothered to load up the JDM disc to hunt for you). Always try to be armed with a part no. as it makes life extremely easy for them, that's why it's great to have the likes of Andrew here, he's a fountain of knowledge for these details.

I've gotten my targa hook, '99 spec rear lights plus centre panel, fan shroud etc. all from my local Nissan and as I am a regular there, have an account where I can order parts and pay them off over a few months:shifty:

It's ideal for me, parts on account, no extra duties or shipping, free storage and collect when I'm ready:thumbup1:
