What about left ? There's some great roads in Wales !

Sounds good to me, Midlands would be fairest I suppose. Except it means that Clarkey can just fall out of his pit and he's arrived at the meet :D

Dave

Well if I can drive to Zedworld and PPs I don;t see why I should join you guys for the midland meet :)

Im a Northerner but i think im out numbered so i will go with the Midlands too. Hopefully my Z should arrive in time for this fingers crossed. Will be my first meet aswell. Lookin forward to it.

Surely we should have a w/e bbq meet next year.

Easter time, plenty of notice etc.

Central area, larger, BBQ & chill out sort of affair, spouce, kids & tent welcome perhaps etc.

Shall i continue to do some footwork?

An idea in its infancy.

harve my dear old thing,

over on the zclub forum, there are starting to be rumours about a European event - say a weekend in France or something. Is this something you/we would be interested in?

OLD thing! cheeky bugger

France would be nice but the logistics for you lot would be of BIBLICAL proportions!

Im looking at a few country/leisure parks etc.

Arrive anytime during the afternoon, open a beer, get the women cooking.

There are 3 replies from venues so far, & waiting for more, i'll have to go & check 'um out i suppose.

Good point, Ashwood...

Your plan sounds like a great idea - shall I bring the Veggie burgers, soya milk and macrobiotic rice? Or just say f*** it and bring a couple of gallons of Old Scruttock's braindeath zider, half a cow and a couple of old Motorhead CDs?

if i can't bring a woman can I just bring a few more beers?

On a serious note, would be good, sort of like a mini billing, perhaps we could get an area at the billing aquadrome just for zedders,

I reckon I could drink kitkat under the table

tell me about it, I felt like shoving a screwdriver through their 15 inch subs,

Loud sound is good when it is of a good quality, Kash's car sounded absolutely wicked at high volume,

Yea but you were not parked beside it,trying to fit a Blitz SBC,poor Nico had to repair his shades with sticky plasters, after the bass shattered them.

Kris 'as it goin,

BBQ, oooohhhhhh yes, = the ksshhhk of cans being opend, the slight rumble of chill out bass, the smell of steak on the grill, the banter of the usual piss taking, & of course the usual attraction of a line up of super cars.

As a member on here says..............SWEET!

I've had a few more replies from venues today, some want way too much money, others want to know how many will be swimming (wtf)!

Its looking good though, when i see the most suitable ones i'll give the details.

Hey harve, just a thought. This is probably not going to be free - space rental and other costs depending. So why not think about having a ticket price - say £5 for members and £10 for non members. Or whatever it costs to cover the costs and put a bit in the kitty for running the forum.

I've done loads of work on the Easter eZay :( But all the venues i've viewed & have been good enough to send correspondance, have been totally unsuitable:(

If anyone has a good idea/venue fire it up for gods sake! Bearing in mind the Z club will be happy to goin us (see Steve Burns).

So the overnighter will be for 60+ cars + guests.

You can see the criteria from the above, so whats near you.

I join Hairsy's campaign for the left. Would love to go to a meet. Would have to remortgage the house to afford the fuel to some of the other meets.

Your right mate, there are some cracking roads over here.

:)
