Hope this thread is allowed, my apologies if not.

 

But can anyone taste the difference between, Whisky, Burbon, Scotcb, and similar dark alachol? As I can't.

 

I'm quite new to the this and they all teasted the same....

Some great replies there, and a trip to Dublin would be easy as its only a few hours away from me. I agree that it would take time to educate the palate, I never drank anything else other than whisky and 1 glass would last a good hour or more as I don't believe in necking it back either. Similar to different coffees I guess.

 

I would have drank Jack Daniels in the past, but would like to try a bourbon I think.

Andrew is that a "Non Alchol free" whisky ?? Reason I ask is I found places that sell it ! I was going to try it.

Never heard of non-alcoholic whiskey before. Surely it can't taste nearly the same?

Yeah you can get it ok. Just google non-alacholic Whisky. You will find it ok.

 

Not sure what it would taste like but think I'll buy a small bottle to see.
