The second 300zx I’ve owned, bought at 55k, now at 103k, after 12 years

Generally only run during the summer. currently SORN'd, once it is back on the road I probably will not be able to sell it!

Details / work / things done

25% over sized aluminium after market radiator

Rebuilt manual gearbox 6 or 7 years ago

Replacement front and rear shock absorbers in the last 6 years

Reconditioned a/c compressor 5 years ago – very effective a/c!

Front ends of sills repaired

Replacement fuel tank, fuel filler, tank straps

Timing belt and water pump, tensioner replacement this year

Toyo Proxis tyres good tread

99 spec rear lights (bought new so should last)

Aftermarket reversing sensors fitted

Supplied with the car but not fitted;

Caliper relocation brackets to allow 350ZX discs to be fitted to the front

Front turret strut

Rear sill repair sections

Generally only used during the summer, everything works apart from the clock!

Some wear on the drivers bolster. The rear wheel arches will need some work. Hence my buying the rear sill repair sections I intended to sort that out this winter. But too many vehicles, too little time and a need to downsize really mean the Zed has to go. Largely standard but with a variety of sensible modifications it is a very practical car, I commute with it during the summer and rejoice in the beginning of the dual carriageway heading south from Aberdeen on the way home.

Located just outside Stonehaven it can be viewed most weekends. If it does not gain any interest I'm not really worried, with a bit of sorting of the arches and rear sills this winter I'll have another year of howling motoring!

However I really should sell - price now £3250, call Pete on 7853 240122
