so cylinder number six is the problem one apparantly. falcon have the engine in bits and said that main bearings have picked up and the con rod in number 6 is damaged. crank is beyond re-machining apparantly. i am going there tomorrow to see the engine in bits and see the damage for myself.
new crank is over 1k, steve also said the engine will need reboring.
will make a decision as to what to do tomorrow when i get there. maybe best to get a new bottom end and save the hassle, but i tihnks thats 3.5k before putting it all to gether and putting in the car:(
