I really want to chrome my head lights but chrome them for real is something that nobody can do here in my country.

If i am not mistaken someone in here has used chrome paint for the job.

Do u think its a good idea to use chrome paint or am i going to have any issues later on?

no mate, I'm adding the foil but just wondered. How did you do the bezel? Doing the sides are fine, it's just the face of it. Did you make loads of slits in the foil?

Cheers

Vijay

I assume you mean the cylindrical part.

I will notice that the side that is screwed on to the light is not even. What I did was a couple of test runs and then rolled the bezel on to the film. Try and put the join at the bottom so that it is out of sight. Then with a steady hand, use a stanley knife and cut an even straight edge at the lip. THEN...if you want to be as thorough as I was, make a ring, 5mm thick, with an internal diameter of 75mm. This is used to go on the lip of the bezel. The use a hair dryer and a finger to mould everything in place.

Please be aware that although the Home Base stuff has a very reflective surface, the adhesive aint to clever and will need so major persuation to stay true. A hair dryer is a must.

I use a 10 year vinyl with the same shine but has a much better adhesive quality - NOT CHEAP.

I intend to take a few pics but owing to the fact that I own a Z, I cant currently afford to buy a decent digital camera so they will have to wait a while.

Hope that helps

Anyone is willing to buy the bacofoil for me? I'll send money for shipping as well.

I am removing my front bumber in a few weeks for painting so it

will be easier for me to remove the headlights.

Anyone??

If you find a place in Cyprus that does vinyl car graphics, they should have a better quality vinyl. That is what I use on all the upgrades I do. It is quite a bit more expensive but worth it. I get it at £15 per meter.

If you want me to get you some, mail me and I'll send it over.
