This should be a fun thread!

Here's the deal: you're allowed 4 cars on the NEC stand. List which four you'd choose and, if you so wish, why.

Mine would have a representative of every body style so:

2+2: either FunkySi or Ian Greenfield. Si because his is simply a superb example of a family estate, and Ian because it's such a rare variant.

2+0 T-bar: Dougal. His Shortie is just sensational and I think it should have far more recognition than it has.

2+0 Slicktop: either Phutumsch or, for a bit of variety, Jaffa!

Convertible: either Johnyboy or Toolboxtrev. I think they're both well sorted examples of Verts, albeit not standard or OEM+.

I think that'd be a stand that'd draw some crowds.

Anyone else want to add their rosters...?

Featured Replies

FunkySi and Joely because it's 'what nissan should have made' and utterly mint.

Definitely Dougals white shortie with the bonnet open

Dave 'SLICKTOP's slicktop impul front end. My fave

Are we talking UK only? Mostly as above for me but I would love to see Yuichi Katoh's 2+2 TT (Japan) and that lovely white convertible from Italy (I don't recall the owner).

Forum member cars, Jay.....

Although I really like the clean stock look, I think a heavily (but tastefully) modified car would be good to see - just for the variety

I think there's some great builds going on at the moment, I'd like to see dan300zx car there.

That's a very good shout that Tom:)

Both my zeds... You did say dream right?

I think

Ian greenfields 99 spec ( great car and my favourite colour)

Mondo 2+0 ( best interior until you do mine lol)

Bobs or jaffas slicktop race car ( proof there's more to zeds)

Not a forum car but I'd like z1's hardtop vert, but that's more because I want to see it lol

I would like to see most of our cars on the stand, every colour and variant and even an old shed as a project as a talking point, BUT...... the main ask of any of our members to attend the show, must be able to get their cars there on Thursday for set up and left in place, untouched/moved until after closing on Sunday and unfortunately that is the main big issue, committing their time and car for the whole event which then brings numbers attending down and therefore our plot made smaller by Lancaster.
