Hi guys ...not sure why the last posting was deleted as I have paid my £20 subs ......dead keen on buying a set of UK spec rear exhaust boxes with the dual chrome tips on each in good condition.....my car has an awesome set of stainless aftermarket rear boxes but they are not my bag at all as I want the car to be totally standard to factory spec ...hope this ad is OK mods ? ...best wishes Taz

There must be someone on here that has taken their oem one off for an aftermarket one. I think you could even sort yourself out some kind of swap if someone is looking for an aftermarket system.

am one of only a few on here who has a uk car i removed my it was a bit rotten trying to find a good condition uk back boxes it going to be hard cant say i have every seen any for sale

Well if you get stuck in a month my new zed is turning up, they should be in good condition so we could swap if you want. You're near Crawley right? I'm in Wokingham. They'll be coming off my car anyway, but I'll need something to replace them with as I'll then be taking the exhaust of my current zed if that makes sense!

I have the standard exhaust on my low milage spare zed but it's an import but think they are exactly the same. I also have a full set of UK spec wheels spare. Both boxes ticked :)

There is some difference in cats on the UK exhaust. Other than that I'm not sure.

UK cars have pre-cats, that's pretty much the only difference.

Ooooh ...OK ..have sourced the wheels and will have a spare set of staggered UK wheels for sale / swap / whatever ...and a pucker set of 18" split deep dish rims with new tires also .. ( don't ask why a spare set of UK ...I was stupid ) ..and not quite sure I totally understand about the difference between UK spec and Jap spec rear boxes ...my car is a 1992 UK 2+2 twin turbo car ...with single large stainless steel rear boxes and I want the box standard UK ones just as she left the factory ...I am luck enough to have a very close friend who is an exhaust specialist ....so adapting is not a problem ......thanks you all for the help and the advice ..as son as she is all sorted a ill advertise the 2sets of wheels and non standard exhausts for sale with Pickies

Yes I'm in Newdigate near Dorking ...so a swap could be on the cards if I don't manage anything sooner .....

The uk and jap boxes are the same. Uk cars have precats which are on the downpipe elbows I believe, so the cat back will be the same.
