After many years of ownership it is with heavy heart that my zed needs to find a knew home . ive owned her for about 7 years now and hardly ever driven her . in total only covered about 1500 miles in all this time . criminal for her just being sat there . ive lost count of the money and hours that have gone into her .

shes a tt jap

had a manual conversion done by jeff and jamie at zedworld

had tt subframe replaced with na rear end

350z brembo brake upgrade with custom made drilled discs all round

kyb agx dampers

the brakes in the top pics have been upgraded to brakes shown in wheel photo . braided hoses all round with these.

these are just works that spring to mind but so much time has been put into the detail of little mods. apart from the wheels she looks a standard . no bolt on bits or skirts .

Thanks graeme but it's time for a camper van. Feels like I'm selling one of the kids

Sad times Andy but if the time is right for you then so be it, and to anyone looking for a sorted Zed head this way right now, I know how Andy has loved this car and has not been shy spending good money on making it right.

Good Luck Andy.

Jeff

Hello there Andy, im honestly interested in this car and i would like to see some of those pics to make a final decision. I have been looking to buy a Japanese 300ZX for quite some years already, sometimes when the money was available there wasnt one i would want, and other times when money was tight i saw pass by some nice ones i couldnt get; Right now i can afford to grow my garage and hopefully after 4 years i can obtain one of these beauties for myself.

Ill keep checking the forum for a detailed information and some nice pictures.

i have fitted a new alloy racing rad and radiator cowl with stainless trim panel since the engine bay pic was taken

It indeed looks pretty well cared for, im trying to get my subscription fixed so i can send PMs as i think thats what i need to do. I have a few questions right now tho, i guess since the car is Japanese that the cluster was in kilometres, its been changed? if so its possible to locate it back as i would need it, i dont think ive read how much miles have the car done so far, and lastly it would be lovely to see pictures of the interior and the cluster. As an informative note im going tomorrow first thing to visit my banker to discuss the availavility of a loan, i wouldnt want to bother you further if for some reason i couldnt obtain the money in a short time.

Chris

You don't need sub to buy, but it'll be nice to stick around after you steal one of our shiny Zed's out of the country ;)

Oh, I dont plan to go anywhere, i have found a great deal of information here about my favourite sports car and you guys are great; but I do plan to try and steal one out of the country indeed, hopefully she will like it here, its sunny 9 months a year, it barely rains, ive never seen snow in my life and the temperature range anually goes from 4ºC to 36ºC

Well, a small update on my side, i got all my paperwork sorted and my loan is green, just waiting on the updates so we can get into the details, if Andy is still convinced to part with one of his "kids" ;)

P8042165.jpgP8042165.jpgpics of interior

mileage is showing 123000

i have mots dating back to 2004

the first 120000 recorded is kms

clocks were changed around 2014 to uk spec from jap to remove speed limiter.

uk clocks were virtually identicle distance recorded .

The interior looks to be in quite good condition as well, looks fantastic, one of the pictures is posted twice tho, dont know if you double posted or you missed one on the series; The only question i have is, do you still have the japanese clock in KM? that would close the deal for me.

Chris

Jdm clocks are ten to a penny so don't let the fact that it has UK clocks in it at present put you off.

Well, i would like to have the original one to somewhat keep the miles/km in check, i could probably get one from one of you guys that got a JDM and installed a UK one for cheap, but around here, i dont think there is a single non-European 300ZX on the whole country. As i said that would seal the deal for me, but i never said it would be a deal breaker ;)

i dont have the jdm clocks any more. if you have jdm clocks you have a speed limiter on your car set at 120kmph unless you fit a mph converter .i changed mine out as the converter can mess with the hicas although mine has since been removed due to rear n/a subframe being fitted. with jdm clocks you would be hitting the speed limiter in about 6ish seconds(75mph). as previous post said jdm clocks are 10 a penny but i dont see any benefit of swapping out uk to jdm.

If you want to rid the limiter and still have JDM clocks, I have sportZ dials which are 90℅ JDM clocks with the limiter removed, and the speed goes to 400kph and a Z logo on it, but it's not entirely oem. It's all your preference, your buying a modified car anyway so personally i wouldn't worry myself with factory clocks but that's just me.

well the inner ring of numbers is kmph so best of both worlds

Shouldnt you people condone going over 120mph? >_>

Actually the clock is not important right now, in the end ill need a 300kph one from Nismo or Z Sport or whatever anyways; in any case if some of you guys have one that dont want/need or sell for cheap i may just pick it up when i pick up the car, well that is if Andy still wants to sell his baby to me.

This is my daily car with a nice view ;)

Chris

I cant find how to edit my post, when i said a clock that you guys dont need or can sell for cheap i meant a JDM stock one, I want to have both.

Just an update.

Mot now sorted.

Needed new front number plate and an indicator bulb on the rear.

I must say after driving to mot station today it will be painful letting her go. I just hope an enthusiast of here buys her and enjoys owning her as much as I have.

Andy

Well, thats great news, im glad to hear for a car that old to pass MOTs so easily, clearly a well cared vehicle; I'm still interested in buying it if you still want to let her go, I hope i can be as loving with her as you have been all this time =).
