The wheel nut has a tapered end where it meets the wheel if that helps. My issue is that I have 2 locking wheel nuts per wheel and one of them is a bit fubared and can be a bigger to get on and off, so I was going to get rid of it, incase it ends up stuck on the wheel bolt.

The thread runs the entire length of he nut and is open both ends

    Hi Russ, the nut overall is 1mm smaller than the rest of them, but the 'taper' and thread are spot, thanks again.
