Following a change of long-term plan, I've decided not to fit the 3" downpipes I bought the other month so they're going up for sale.

A pair of brand new 4-bolt stainless steel downpipes, made by AMS. These have never been fitted and they come with all the necessary gaskets. Jimmer told me that the AMS-supplied ones are rubbish so he kindly gave me a pair of good quality turbo to DP gaskets.

They cost me £380 including delivery and import taxes, and that's what I want for them.

Cheers. :)

Question is why aren't you fitting them?

5 bolt = larger turbos maybe?

The original plan was to have Infinity fit them and then fabricate the new exhaust to match up. But, when the time came, I couldn't stretch to £60 per hour for them to fit them when there was a chance that the swap wouldn't go smoothly.

So Jimmer and I discussed him fitting them next month and then getting the car trailered to Infinity so they could modify their system to fit the new DPs. But again, it's all a question of money really.

If they haven't sold by the time my Zed goes back to Bristol in early August, I'll likely just get them fitted and resign myself to living on beans for a month or two!
