I'm still having fun in my TT90 manual (only had a week) but I have a question.

When the boost drops off I get a noticable vibration/buzz from the back. I was told that it was a suck back in the exhaust(Scorpion) from the turbo when it stops spinning. Is this correct?

I wouldn't know much about this, maybe you need a breather kit from GPS(Trotters Ind. Trading Comp.)...give Johnny a ring, number in the contacts section.

Let me know how you get on with this as I'm yet to fit all this stuff to my Z TT.

No sounds Crap to me - i have been in several cars with Scorpions fitted and never heard any for of vibrations / buzzing.

The physics behind the guys explanations is not too sound either.

Does it always happen ?

Buzzing from the rear for the car is often the fuel pump - but you shuold get that as soon as you power the car on. Vibrations could be anything. If it happens when you take your foot off the gas i think it could be either the pilot or TO bearing - i had this problem and am looking at fixing it when the car goes back together.

Where abouts in the country are you - someone might be able to take a look at in the know near you.

I'm Surrey/Hampshire border - M3 jn3. If anyone is local-ish it would be good to get an opinion. It only happens when the boost drops, feels sort of like a binding as though a light tap of brakes????

Hi Rob

I've got a Scorpion fitted to mine and never heard or felt anything like you say as for the problem you have over to the experts
