Hi, next monday I'm having an engine oil change on the ZX. The milage is around 60,000 miles - is it worthwhile changing the auto gearbox oil at the same time?

If it's like mine and is a Jap import without any,then I definately would get the gearbox oil changed at 60,000.

Well it is a jap import with no history. I've had it for two years now, and when I first got it I had the cambelt changed. I spoke to the mechanic I used and he's going to consult his "bible"! It's just I've heard so much recently on changing the gearbox oil, so at the same time I ought to consider it.

The 60k service is a big one mate.

It not only includes cam belt (which is the majority of the cost) you also have the other 3 belts, water pump, thermostat, plugs, air filter (if required) & oil and filter.
