Sunday morning meet at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (Portimao Circuit ) lots of fun cars and lots of spills and action all in fun no-one takes it too serious unlike the competitiveness of the UK.

 

20 Euro a car for 4 sessions of 5 laps each !! the track owners are not greedy and actively encourage car enthusiasts to meet there and to hang out or have some track time, the drift area is free and can be used all day if you want.

Did you track the M5 Jeff? :) Great pics and the Autódromo is a great track its a pity F1 did not continue the Portuguese races. June and I will be flying back to the Portimao area (Praia Da Rocha) in May for some sun.

Great track, been lucky to make some good friends who get me in the pit`s for most events, the drive back home from the track is good fun too!

Staying in the Hotel Oriental from the 29th April to the 3rd May :pint:

shame we don't have something like that here. in this hell hole you will need to pay through the nose for it booking in 30 week a head of time spend 6 hours in a class room and get one drive round.

How nice to see an event/venue that doesn't overcharge/take advantage and then to have roads to drive on without blasted 'traffic calming' - nice pics Jeff, thank you :wink:.

 

Some of these UK town planners need to have a ride in a car like mine just to see what it's like getting from a to b, oh how i long for just tarmac with one white line down the middle.
