Just advertising my interest in buying a Nissan 300zx Manual or Auto TT. I'm not fussy on the SWB/LWB, or the colour. Not looking to pay more than £2000 for one, and yes I am not expecting a lot for this sort of money! I intend to spend a lot more on it as a rolling project.

I own a Seat Leon Cupra R 05 plate with 86k on it and remapped to 280bhp. Body work is a lot to be desired (trolley dings, and car park T**ts) but has had a lot of money spent on upgrades, and maintenance. I'm mentioning this because there may be a deal to be done if someone is interested. If you are, I can provide pics. Otherwise I will just sell it separately, and put towards a less project-like Z.

I at least hope the 300zx is drivable to recover. If it is, I will travel far for it. If it is not, I can arrange collection if it isn't TOO far away. Unless delivery can be arranged?

Thanks for reading :)

Congratulations mate

With the power steering check the fluid level first.

Mine had what I thought was a small oil leak, then when the power steering started playing up, seemed to suddenly stop working then start again, I checked the fluid.

Turns out I was leaking from a hose on the pump.

Topped it up, tightened the hose all is good.

Drivers side pulley is power steering, middle is waterpump, and passenger side is aircon.

I take it you can still bolt on a viscous fan onto the waterpump pulley?

I think so. I know I will need to source the clutch for it aswell

Fluid level looks OK, need to check fuses and there's oily/greasy pipes everywhere. Car is now on stands so I'll get underneath it tomorrow night. I have noticed two wires disconnected and dangling underneath. Need to find out what they are! Oh the fun begins!

Bodywork seems sound enough at least.
