may you can remove the other 4 nuts, then grind of the head of the stud back of the hub then head it up then knock it throu with a punch if the wheels stufff isnt tapped then that will work

from what i can see this will work cut the head off with a 1mm cutting disc in a grinder, is this the from or rear wheels, if the front then that better and you can turn the wheel to get more room

iyou will neeed to remove brake caliper to if you can get it off with the wheel on Pic-9.jpg

look like you can see the stud head with the caliper on the black dot you could drill it from this side then punch it out Pic-6.jpg

Thanks for the help and advice guys, i'll see what i can do, fortunately i have new longer studs to go in as i'm putting spacers on so it doesnt matter if i destroy the stud!.

Looks like its going to be a pig of a job either way

looks worse than it is

If it were me I would have split what is left of the nut with a sharp flat screwdriver used as a chisel following down between stud and alloy..... if you can split it then it should just wind off the stud..... It's only alloy.......

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Penetrating oil into the stud/broken nut. Make a slot at 12 and 6 O'clock on the nut and use a hammer and small chisel to try and turn the broken nut?

Glad to try and help if you can get down to NW London. Or where about's are you in Northampton?

actually looking at your pic again, is the recess quite deep? :(

get a punch, center it on the stud and go get a HSS bit which is around the same size as the stud and just drill it out.
