Chaps what do you guys get to the gallon

Town?

Motorway?

My brother is buying a RX7 and I said im sure the 300 will be much better MPG.

Featured Replies

I think the tests put the RX7 at around 16mpg and the 300ZX at around 18mpg.

I haven't really paid much attention to mine recently, but I think I get around 22mpg or so. I was getting less before I changed the air filter and exhaust though.

Have you got a link to these tests Dave?

I check mine all the time.

Normal driving, A roads, B roads, Town, i get about 17-18Mpg

If i use the motorway i get about 22-23Mpg.

And my Kia Pride 1.3Lx gets 42-45 Mpg!!!!!!!

Dan

Bloody hell, just got a 94 218 TD rover and thats good for 50, burn the Kia

ok this is how it works for me

£1 gets me 5 miles :)

sucks when you think of it like that

I pay 77p for optimax

Yes but its a Kia and not a Rover!!

My Kia is class...

Dan,

Brave man owning up to havin a Kia as ur everydat A2Ber!!! Very brave.

Nick

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

Around town I get about 14mpg, and a cruise down the motorway (no racing) is about 25mpg...

I was thinking of putting a sticker in my 300zx saying

'my other car is a Kia Pride'

Dan

Around town I'm getting about 17-19mpg but driving at 70ish on the motorway I get about 27-28mpg. That doesn't happen often though!!!:D

I also get great MPG on the motorway - if I cruise at about 80.

i did 250 miles the other day on just over half a tank!! (about 5/8 of a tank to be precise);)

although its a different story around town :p

i put 20 quid in the other week and just normal town driving to work and back it did 50 miles dunno what that equates to but being as my soop would do 40 miles to a tenner its quite thirsty

My last tank of petrol where I drove the car's nuts off gave me 148 miles. LOL That's just over £40 of Optimax.

....and yes I did come out of 1st gear.

just got around 260 miles out of a tank, mostly motorway cruising. could have got more but had a couple of flat out races on the way home!! :D

TBH I feel it's not about miles per gallon. Cause the Zed don't do that many, but compare it to Smiles per gallon and you're gonna get loads.

Too true.

I own a driving school running dci clio's:

Miles per gallon - 67

Smiles per gallon - minimal

My zed

Miles per gallon - whats the point in even thinking about it !!

Smiles per gallon - constant beaming grin!!!!!

If we all worried about how much fuel our zeds use there would be a group buy on Kia prides. :D

well my Zed does about 45 miles to the tenner, so if thats bad tough cos the car is worth it stuff those diesels and shitty corsa's etc doing 50 to the gallon cos they can't beat the sound od a v6.
