Custom made exhaust removed from my LWB TT Auto

It has no make on it anywhere so I am assuming it is a custom build(?)

I bought the car in May this year and have replaced it with an OEM exhaust as I found it a bit loud on longer journeys....I believe it has only done about a thousand miles.

Condition appears to be pretty good and I guess it would polish up ok.

The outlets are 90mm.

Happy to sell or swap for a set of good UK clocks....collection from south east London (15 minutes from the Dartford Crossing)

The only picture I have is below when I was getting the car collected....its not too clear!

I don't have any Db reading for the noise level...it wasn't that loud actually...I just prefer the sound level to be the way it came out of the factory for prolonged journeys

Ok thanks, no pictures from the previous owner when you bought the car ?

  • 2 weeks later...

sorry for the delay i was in holidays :)

2.25" it's inside or outside ?

Still interested but i'm waiting news from banzaibraker regarding 2 rear jdm bumper, and so to come in london..

Open to offer ? 100£

Thanks

i'm not at home actually, i have already elbow (downpipe) and i thinks there are in 2 1/2...

they fit on original catalytic pipes ?

on your picture we can see a restriction after the connection ?

  • Author

The diameter of the pipe (externally) is 2 1/8" (1 7/8" internally)......the 'restriction' mentioned is a lip just inside the flange (and looks much worse than it is!)...the pipe diameter beyond that lip is not changed.

This exhaust was fitted to original OEM down pipes.

Hello sorry for the delay, but i have a problem with my 300, engine seems to not be healthy :(

I checked my original pipes and your are right, internal size is 1.92" near 2" and external size is 2.14".

I checked my custom elbow that i bought some months ago and the internal size is 2.25"

I search it it will be damage to restrict the gas flow with this exhaust.

But first i need to confirm or not if my engine can run correctly, i must take compression to be sure..

If you want to put on ebay i'll understand...

Thanks
