Ok my other sister now wants to buy a Z, in the last week, we have looked at 2, and inquired about another one by lengthy txts, all from Donedeal and as follows

1.No NCT lots of txts going well all seemed fine until the night before we were going to look at it, it developed a brake line leak, a fuel leak, a broken exhaust and a couple of other thing, all caused I think by a guilty conscience, however it saved us a trip. NA auto jap spec. asking €3,200

2. No NCT, 3 wheels, tt manual, no TB done, no spoiler just holes, bonnet not closing, damaged wheel arch, lots of dents, manky interior, rusty engine, in fairness the engine sounded good and no smoke. Jap spec. asking €1,750

3. No NCT, spoiler in bits, every wheel arch rotten including inner, temp and boost gauge not working, interior filthy. tt auto, UK spec, horrible bmw wheels, no TB done, and best of all he tried to impress us by saying its taxed as a 1ltr micra, as the tax book says Nissan 0ther. asking €3,450

Her other option is to put up a wanted ad, and try bring one back from JAE

PS the good news is based on these Dutchgold has a 20k car and me and LiZony have 10k cars

Are you coming into liverpool on route to JAE? If so this one is for sale in Birkenhead, I'll be putting a proper for sale ad up in the week.

Ciaranz has a silver SWB NA for sale, have you seen it? Looks decent

If she doesn't mind a wait though I'd definitely recommend importing

Just thought of another thing - the owner of the silver SWB TT you mentioned spotting at Mondello told me he was considering selling it, but I don't have a name or any contact details!

thanks, I will show her, however the body kit would not be to my taste

This one is back up again, looks like an Irish/UK car - http://www.adverts.ie/car/nissan/300-zx/1991-nissan-300-zx/8767626

The price may be a bit high though. From just those pictures you can see a large dent, faded trims and that the antenna mechanism doesn't appear to be working. And then there's the illegal tax, which customs seem to be having a good go at lately.

How is he getting away with taxing it as a 2 litre??

Probably won't for much longer the way customs are going. Could be why it's for sale.

What are the customs at now??

Just clamping down on underdeclaration of engine displacement. Fair enough really, but it's shit what they're doing to the RX7/RX8 drivers - cars taxed as 1.3L (legitimately!) can't be renewed as they are!

Thats one of the ones I looked at, worse than the pics even, rotten, rotten rotten. Inner arches, sills, boot floor, not a straight panel, only thing it had going for it was the engine sounded sweet. Was in an eastern european garage, because it says "Nissan Other" on the log book is how theynare not fiddling thenTax, he was using that as amselling point
