I'm gonna get a price from my local garage (who specialise in performance cars) for a headgasket change of my Z, 1991 TT manual.

 

Rough guesses as to a reasonable price would be nice as I a Z newbie!!!

Jeff (Zedworld) should be able to give you a reasonably accurate time for the job. I'd suggest speaking to someone like him or AndyDuff about other things that are worth changing at the same time - you could save yourself a lot of future labour costs by spending a little more now.

i did email andy a while back, very helpful chap, but he's 70 miles away :(. have no way of getting the car that distance. it'd cook the engine.

 

jeff is also miles away.

 

i'd much prefer one of those to do it as they specialise in Z's...think i'll email them anyway just to get a price guideline.

What's your location ? If you post it on here, someone may well be able to recommend someone who's worked on Zs.
