Hi I paid someone on here for a part but miss spelled his email / paypal address it still took money from my account .when I sent to correct address he got it . But I looked on miss spelled address and it said unclaimed so I cancelled payment but my bank still shows it's gone out will this be returned by paypall it hadn't yet thanks .

Yes mate, can take upto 7 days, the bank basically hold the amount until claimed, if its not claimed within that time it is replaced into your account, had something similar happen recently.

Unnecessary scare mongering in this thread buddy, Groovers correct, its part of their security to ensure there isn't any false transactions after goods or services sold. Annoying and inconvenient if you've paid out twice, but it will be paid back to you.

 

Did I mention about it suiting them for an extra 7 days interest on your money of course (and the other potentially 1000's out there)...but that's just the cynic in me!
