How many people live in kent or nearby which could attend a monthly meet? Or does one already occur?

If not who would like that to be on the books.

I attend an mr2 meet mmonthly and discussions with them may see a joined monthly meet so a good numbee of people attend?

What are the symptoms?

If you looks at the video in my build thread (if you click my started threads)

The engine is far from smooth, Stephen said it was probably missing a cylinder, I don't know/hope it doesn't have anything to do with one bank of the timing belt or something as that is what I have changed.

 

I will try and isolate which cylinder it is, and see if I can clean the connections and check/replace the spark plugs. If I can't fix it I'll probably call for some other suggestions :wink:

Did you have the plenum off? Check the connectors on you injectors too, they can go green and cause issues.

 

Assuming you were careful with the ptu and cas, when you had the front apart?

I've had the air leak ever since I had the car, hence I was thinking it didn't boost as the guage always sticks to positive pressure, but haven't looked into it much.

 

I did make sure the plugs were on properly but the surround for it was cracked slightly so there is a possibility there could be a problem with them, but I thought if the ptu and cas had a dodgy connection it wouldn't start. I'll have a nose around later and see how the connections are, then see for any other possibilities.

Alic suggested I pop this here. When I looked I saw talk of a monthly meet in the Kent/Sussex area.... I haven't read the entire thread yet but I'd like to offer up my pub as a meeting point. Nice country pub, good food and ale and a decent size car park. I'm in the High Weald Area of outstanding natural beauty, the pub is called the White Horse Inn. If anyone is interested then let me know.
