Colour change or just a respray ?

Bit of both really, started out as the spoiler addition at the rear and nose cone, was going to blend in but after looking at the usuall stone chips and odd scratch decided for a complete respray, but now have decided to add metalic to the paint as it was previously micra pearl which looks ace in the sun but a bit boring in the shade ( about 11 months of the year then in the UK!)

£70 a litre!! ouch...4 litres going on + same in laquer better look shinyer or I will be not too happy:(

Jeff, what have you done? I was going to pop over for a quick oil change and brake pads soon but only if you can keep your hands off the sandpaper for a while!

once you have posted, edit the post, and it allows you to upload another pic, then edit it again..... etc.

I'm confused by pic 2.

 

The top ones are obviously pineapple slices. And then an orange slice. But what's at the bottom ? Is it some huge mutant passionfruit ?

No it's clearly pineapple, some sort of giant tomato and the lower ones are watermellon :)

Well I guess that if Levis can not wash their jeans and fade then with bleach and then sell them as the new fashion. We can do it with our cars.

 

Jeff you may have started a new trend there. Never been into fashion myself so I'll probably keep some paint on mine :D

I have got to agree with Fat Tony, does look pretty good.

Am I right in thinking that it is designed to be integrated with the OEM spoiler, or can it be used on its own say with a NA rear?

 

Also is that the Luke OEM Fibreglas copy you have on the rear??????

Hi Mark - yes Jeff did have a Luke OEM fitted when I met him at Solihull. Very nice job indeed. That's the main reason I bought one! (Wish I'd had mine fitted by Jeff, tho.)

It's short for overweight elephant member:D;)

sometimes it stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer or something like that. EG Greenstuff brake pads are aftermarket but Nissan ones are OEM. Here it means a spoiler that looks exactly like the original.
