Ok i've found and am about to buy a lovely import Fairlady,it's in very good condition both bodywork,engine and interior.

 

It has 44k on the clock and is a non turbo manual.

 

It doesn't have cruise control but has all the other extras,electric seats,windows mirrors etc.Very nice cloth interior.

 

The only thing i don't like is the exhaust.It has one of those huge single pipes both sides but i'd much prefer the standard ones.Does anyone want to swap or do they have them for their standard pipes or do they have them for sale?

 

The other thing is i have a very nice TV in the car but unfortunately it only works in Japan (NTSC) does anyone have a spare tuner or do i need to replace the screen also?

 

Can't wait to pick it up this Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alex, I still have my standard exhaust but its from a TT, you can have it for nothing if you find out its ok for n/a (but I doubt it is!)

Unless you get offered one for v low price I wouldn't bother with putting a standard exhaust back on. It's made out of mild steel and cardboard.

 

What you need is a nice shiny stainless steel one which can have two outlets on each side just like standard. Mine's a Mongoose but there are others. Sources from people like Johnny at Grasshopper or Mike at http://www.mjpauto.com

 

And is actually cheaper than the Nissan cardboard one :D

 

Oh and watch out, SWB and 2+2 have different exhausts.

Welcome to the club mate. Im sure you will enjoy it. I would be interested in swapping the exhausts over. I have OEM standard pipes on ( two exits each side). Both are in good condition and only just over the year old. How big is the external diameter of your pipes. ?
