Featured Replies

I havent used them personaly but I have spoken to Luke on the phone several times. He seems to certainly know his stuff and is very helpful and a thoroughly nice bloke.(is that OK Luke, when do I get the cheque?)

Cheers,

F.T.

Everything I have ever ordered from Luke, has been delivered within 1 week,That is the TRUTH!

I also find Luke a top bloke, and is willing to help anytime you phone him for tec questions.

Luke is a top bloke and directed me to the way of zed`s when buying my first zed some 5 years ago!!.

yep, same here, Lukehas always been reliable for me - only charged me £4 P&P for my 99 spec front bumper, and it was a huuuuge parcel.

Sounds a top bloke, good to no,

I would reccomend them for sure, I had some very good suggestions from Luke.

(but obviously not the garge they use for body work)

yep, stuff has arrived within the week easily from Luke. no problems here.

There is no way anyone can doubt Luke at The Z Centre.

I must have phoned him a hundred times and only a few of those being to actually buy something (which every time came in a couple of days). Usually just for advice, he's my FIRST call EVERY time.

I've never met the guy but would say he's the one single person that has helped me out the most.

What has made you ask the question? You can't have dealt with him otherwise you wouldn't need to ask. I'm not arse-licking the man, but praise where praise is due..

James.

Spoken to him and bought stuff from him - top bloke, no probs.

I agree with all the above. Top bloke, top advice and top service. It was Luke who pointed me in the direction of THIS place!

Ditto !!

Always helpful.

Luke supplied most of the kit for my car and it all arrived on time at the bodyshop.

No problems here, nice guy. Spoke to him when I first bought my car and had problems and he was very helpful. Also pointed me in the direction of Johnny at GPS who has also provided me, personally, with an excellent service over the past two plus years.

luke is a top bloke. nuff said. just ring him

"T"...............;)

Regarding the Z Center:

I paid more than 100 pounds shipment for a front bumper to belgium by carrier.

I asked for a cheaper rate by regular post but Luke refused.

I believe some of these guys take a small extra percentage by

charging excessive postage rates.

Correct me if I'm wrong...

Otherwise Luke seems an okay chap to talk to.

Bought my Zed in April and since then, have talked to Luke at least once a week. He is one of the most straight up people I have ever come across. Although he can`t get things right absolutely 100% of the time (who can) the effort and commitment he puts in for us Zeddies makes hime my number one first contact point

(very closely followed by Jeff at Zedworld who is also a very knowledgeable and helpful bloke)

Just dont let him take any picitures of your Z cos they will be slapped all over his site ;)

Only joking.

Never spoke to him but have had emails from his and he has always been helpful to me.

henri.f - to be honest, he's never ripped me off with postage - I had a headlight panel delivered on a Saturday before - Luke didn't want to send it as it would cost shedloads, but I insisted and he charged me a reduced rate too!! Would have been something stupid like £26 from TNT (which I confirmed via their website), and he knocked it down to £15.

I really don't think he'd be out to rip people off with postage.

It may be because you cant get a cheaper source of delivery. If you send it cheaper its not insured. If you get it and its broken, you will want your money back from Luke, who will then claim it back from the delivery people. However if it was sent cheaper and its broken you want your money back but Luke will then not be able to claim for the full cost of the item and make a loss and then an argument will errupt on who pays the bill.

Stuart

AndyD,

I get your point, but my post was in response on reading that you got the P&P for the same item ( 99 OEM spoiler) for only 4 pounds.

I mean, maybe the shipping distance was longer in your case than in mine !

The parcel can just as easily be lost or damaged during its travel across England as during the small hop across the channel.

It just depends on the guy who handles the parcels, really.

I just wonder about the difference 4 pounds vs 100-ish pounds...

rik

tbh, overseas freight is always more expensive - I cant comment on how or why Luke did me a deal and not you, but I still don't think he was out to rip you off.

IMHO
