Hi, does anyone have a damaged passenger side headlight? I have opened mine up to refurbish and managed to snap the corner off of the reflector. Also one of the splined cogs was broken. So if anyone has these two parts it would be very helpful ;) thanks

If you are minded, you can replace the plastic cogs with metal ones. Details towards the end of this article:

Thanks mate. I had seen this sometime ago and could of done with it when I stripped the lights. Couldn't find it again though. So thanks. However I still need to replace the reflective low beam housing, so if anyone has one.........

I am unsure what you require - reflective low beam housing ? Put up a pic please.

You just require the one plastic cog - have you checked carefully the other 7 ?

 

They're not a problem, the 'HIGH' beam housing might be as they often do tarnish like that - let me see what i have but i'm thinking from memory it might be like for like.

 

If you were to obtain some 99 inserts then the housings condition wouldn't be such an issue as they're hidden from view somewhat as opposed to the stock inserts where there's no hiding place.

To be honest the price of the inserts is a bit much at the moment. Can you see what you've got please.

I have both sides, the chroming is not mint but perfectly acceptable condition that i'd fit on my own - confirm you need a left one ?

 

EDIT : Just read again post 1 where you say passenger side, so that is left.
