Hi to all the technical people that may be able to help......

I have sourced some Brand new Bosch O2 sensors that have the same Bosch number as the 5 that I have in the garage spares and on the car fitted......

I was trying to find out if the OEM ones were stamped up with Nissan part number or just the Bosch part number?

The Bosch ones I have fitted to my Z and spare ones in the garage have A24-621 120 23070 on them....... Same number as the ones I can get hold of.....

Would it make a difference if the Nissan logo wasn't on them???

These are not the universal style ones......

Cheers

Won't make a difference, they're only stamped with the Nissan logo for JDM/rape tax purposes. As long as the part numbers are the same, I can't see there being any differences at all.

If you are unsure, send them to me, I will test them, you may not get them back if they work though lol.

Russ, I have a pair of new OEM O2 sensors with the part# 22690-30P00 printed on the Nissan packaging.

The sensors themselves are both stamped with an outline Nissan "hamburger" logo with the

text "LIC. BOSCH A24-621 118 84080" on one and "LIC. BOSCH A24-621 118 78090" the other.

I found 3 in my boot. 2 of them are the proper nissan ones but all have the hamburger sign on them but one says JECS so I'm guessing that a JECS one lol

The nissan ones were

A24-621 123 59023

A24-621 118 63160

The other one was

A24-621 118 9X264

The three you have Bird are all Bosch ones..... A24 - 621 denotes Nissan..... and are the same starting numbers as S13 and Q45......

Mine are A24-621-120-23070..... looks like they are all different numbers......

I would like to know what numbers denote what on the Bosch part numbering exactly...... very much like the VW part numbers showing make, model, variation, position on vehicle, etc......

I shall post up if they have the hamburger or not and the part numbers and where they are available Monday when I get my hands on 2...... lol

Andrew, if they're the same but without the connectors, would it be worth posting the part no's anyway?

What do you mean by "universal" fitting? There are Bosch ones (I'd have to go and find out which) that are

equivalent to the OEM ones but don't have the Nissan connectors on them (they are bare wired). Do you mean that?

Yep they were the bare wire ones Andrew......

I will post all the cross reference info I found out whilst researching these and see if it helps anyone...... Left it all at work...... lol

I do have a cataloguing specialist coming down to see me in a couple of weeks who specialises in cross referencing and tracking hard to find parts....... Might kidnap him..... lol

Having recently worked with a Zed with brand new OEM sensors where one had all the response of a stoned slug, I'm firmly of the opinion worrying about O2 sensors is a complete waste of time
