New Nissans for 2003

Looks like theres some great new Nissans due for release in the US and Japan :) - but as always, the out of touch Nissan UK bods will most likey sit on there hands! :(

As many of you know the Z33(new Fairlady Z) has been released in the US and Japan, it has just been confirmed that the 350Z will coming to the UK in October 2003(but at a price way above what the US and Japanese pay):

I like it, some dont :) , its a RWD 3.5 V6 non turbo(dont worry turbo fans Greddy do a Turbo conversion I belive!), its a 2 seater only however...

...then we have the Nissan Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan and Sport Coupe due for release in the US:

I like this Coupe version also, its got a 280 horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC V6 with 270 lb-ft of torque just like the new Z33. A choice of 6-speed close-ratio manual transmission or 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with manual shift mode(like the Z33). And once again rear-wheel drive :).

Main difference is this G35 is 2+2 but on a similar platform to the Z33! :) , so this is aiming at the new Lexus Coupe(sort of similar in the front) except the Nissan is a hard top.

News...November 20, 2002—MOTOR TREND magazine announced today the selection of the Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan and Sport Coupe as the 2003 Car of the Year (issue dated January 2003).

New in Japan is the new Nissan Cube...

I like this(again!), many say the styling looks shite, but it reminds me of a Merc G wagen that's shrunk in the wash! :)

I belive its got a 1.4 litre 4 cyl with a 6 speed CVT gearbox with manual shift mode if needed. I know there is a FWD model, but I also belive there is a 4WD model also(but cant read japanese to confirm).

Few more..

(this one looks good, but doubt we'll see it here)

So, a few nice new Nissans on the way(not UK - blind, short sighted bastids!). Not to sure about the new Skyline GTR, maybe some of the Skyline chaps can advise on that front.
