My Blitz springs and Koni adjustables are being fitted in the next day or two.

I was going to set them on hard all round as it's a second car and I want it as sporty as I can get.

Thing is I've been told that having the rears on hard can cause the springs to stay compressed during hard cornering and lose grip at the back end?

Is this right and how have you all set yours up?

I'm sure if I put the backs on medium I'll only end up wanting to try it on hard settings anyway and it's not easy to change.

Chris.

I contacted KONI after getting no help regarding this from the people that sold them

Koni said the way the shock comes is how it is best set up for the car, i tightened mine up just a notch all round, and so far ive been very happy, i dont think id go to full on the back or the front.

I put mine at 1/2 way front and back. Figured they were probably meant to be that way and then give some adjustment either way from the optimum setting.

Feels good like that although I'm tempted to harden the rears up a touch more, feels a little underdamped for the stiffness of the springs on the back.

Mine are set half-way on both front & rear shocks and have no complaints.

Best get the rear adjustment correct first time as you have to remove them to make further adjustments.

Yea Chris,Leave thr rears on the middle setting as they come from the factory, and about halfway on the fronts;)

then gwt an appointment with your dentist to make sure your fillings are all sound ;)

i would personally go a bit stiffer on the rears as they seem a bit soft on middle, but not going to change them yet.
