Charity Dyno Day 19th Oct at Tuning Developments Ltd, Warrignton

Hi Guys and Gals

If you ever wondered how many ponies your car was putting out?, then here's the ideal opportunity to find out.

A friend of mine has organised a Charity Dyno Day at Tuning Developments Ltd in Warrington on the 19th Oct, which just happens to be the Sunday of the Blackpool Illuminations meet.

So the crack is its £40 for 3 dyno runs and you get a full printout for BHP etc.

There will also be a Pro Valleting company and a Hydro Dipping Company there too as well as a catering van.

10% of all the proceeds go to Manchesters Dogs Home.

I was invited initially so asked if more could attend and the answer was yes but we will be limited to numbers on the day.

So if you want to book a dyno session then let me know and ill sort it for you.

But either way its a good excuse for going to meet up and have a chin wag and see some other clubs cars too.

Or get your car cleaned or order some hydro dipped parts and help the wee doggies at the same time.

So im going to drive down from Blackpool on sunday morning, anyone fancy joining me ?????.

The day starts at 9.0am

for more info have a look at their facebook page.

What car got the biggest result of the day?

Sam and I got there about 3.30 and stayed for about an hour....during that time there was a Skyline that got 430bhp I think but the last car of the day, which we didn't stay for as had to get back, was a Rybrook Jag (XKR I think but I get muddled with my jag models) which allegedly was pushing 700bhp.

If they do another charity event next year I'd certainly go :)

i must have just missed you guys sarah. The skyline was just about to go on the dyno when i left.

The jag made 468bhp for some reason. Way short of what it was supposed to.

They are doing another one i feb and have invited a load of footballer so expect a car park full of lambo's and ferrari's i will be going to that one for sure

Rich ive asked the guys to compile a leader board so will post it as soon as i know

Ah gutted we missed you Ian! There were a couple of Skyline's there, a black and a silver one and it was the silver we saw.

Wow, that Jag fell waaaaay short of what they were hoping!

The event in Feb sounds great! Dare I ask how you know these 'ballers? I take it if they have Lambos they're not on your local's 5 a side ;) Please do keep me informed of dates as it sounds like a great day and I'd like to get my 350 dyno'd again as I'm a bit suspicious the figures I got last time were a bit generous so want a comparison.

Mmmm and with a bit of luck my forged engine build and proper mapping sessiojn will be complete by then
