got one here, what are they worth now ? open to sensible offers

is it needed with or without adaptation wires... (obviously would increase the price)

 

I'd say £80 would be a good price (only my opinion :)) for a good working one.

Thanks for that ,I will have to find out from Mark Derby if I need the adaption wires you mention.My cars currently with Mark having an engine fitted,i brought a new loom and just thought my series 1 ptu would be ok.

second had PTU from the US is $85 + £45 for the harness ... $43 plus delivery ... that's not too bad ... $173 (and maybe some import costs) about £106

the second had ones on eBay are over £80 from Oz ...(with no wires) and you also might have to pay import duty.

It's the original one off my '94, i bought another about 8 months ago and fit it, as at the time i had a starting problem but it worked the same as this one i took off, so doesn't matter which one i use, problem was my battery was weary btw.

 

I was going to just keep as a spare but if it helps you out and it looks like they're worth decent coin, i'll let it go and hope i don't regret it !!
