Hi all,

Does this look like an after market chip or is it oem?

I've been told it was chipped be SE nissan but can't find any evidence.

Also what does TZ mean my other stock ecu had 25 on it.

Thanks Dan

Yes, the ECU has been socketed and it has a non-standard chip. It doesn't look like the sort that SE Nissan used to use, but of course all of their chips may not be the same.

Thanks Andy.

I'm unable to find any other info unlike other chips I've seen.

It works that's the main thing :)

SE used UV erasable chips, that is not one of those, plus they usually had a silver label with black writing. It may be an SE one that someone has copied.

That could explain it I guess. Bit odd as everything else checks out to be done by SE or Silvia engineering that I understand is the same company that changed names at some point.

Possible the chip may of been replaced at a later date even?

Thanks for the info Andy much appreciated :)
