I thik the fact that you had the major service done by Nissan will put a lot of people off. :D

Only kidding mate. I have a few friends at work who were so impressed with my Zed, they want one of their own. I'll have a word. Where are you located ?

£2500 service?

That sounds like a rebuild. But it should mean the engine is as good as new.

£2500ish cos it was done at a Nissan garage at 60000 miles. I didn't pay for it :D , it was the owner before me and he got hit for six.

I've had the majority of my work done at SE.

I've also got pretty much every receipt for any work done

I'm based in Morden in Surrey - close to Wimbledon.

The car is in my driveway at the moment but i'll be dropping it off at SE in the next two weeks and it'll probably stay there until the work is complete and its sold.

Any more q's, just drop me a line

Nice small things still with the car:

1) Original covers for the roof to protect them when in the boot

2) Pieces for roof that shade the front seats on both sides

3) Original 300zx mats front and back

4) Nice legged blonde permanently in back seat at your service - ok, i was only joking about the first three!!!! :p

If i could figure out how to put a picture in the message, i'd do it but cant. Anyone want pictures, email me at mansoor.ahmed@uk.easynet.net and i'll forward you them.

take care

Sound strange but the money you lose in selling your car, buying a new one, getting insurance for you and a learner, you could probably pay for lessons.

Thought about that and the problem is they wont insure her on the car.

You can get a decent car for a couple of hundred quid so why sell?

My parents just sold a J reg Rover 214 for £400 and it was absolutely mint.

Old cars these days are often still good runners and don't rust like they used to.

:o

I would suggest that if you got a cheap car and some driving lessons, then when your wife passes her test just add her to your insurance.

My wife has only very recently passed and she is on my insurance for a Skyline GTR

Reduced the premium....

Yes most insurance goes down if you add your husband or wife onto it.
