TWO YEARS ago I was banned for ONE WEEK for saying a few things on a JAE thread that mods decided were out of order.

Bye Folks - it lasted about 2 days.

From a casual onlooker, I think it's going to take a bit more time & effort to get along from all those concerned.

 

"War" is a bit strong though, it's just a couple people that don't get along on the internet. The car's the star :thumbup1:

I totally agree and my apologies to ALL members including Mrs Hollowpoint for the way I handled the situation, I should have been more professional in my approach. I am just like 99.9% of members and simple want to enjoy what the club has to offer with the help and advice and also the banter. There is no need for this to rear it's ugly head again, it serves nobody.

There is no bad feelings from us, we keep our feelings to ourselves, its been two days as rose states and it shows she hasnt changed, sly digs hidden with smiley faces and lol's then rants on posts and threads started

 

There is no hiding the fact that we dont all get on its well known, but we welcomed rose back and encouraged her to post and joined in with threads she posted, but we wont sit back and have digs thrown at us like there is a conspiracy foing on to get them

 

Then threads like this just shows how nasty it can get, we dont (but I have in the past once) go on their site having sly digs and throw accusations about so why come here to do it

 

It annoys me when people say their is bad feeling from both clubs when as you must agree there has been none shown by us, its one sided and to say it isnt is just wrong

 

We really hoped that we could all get along and with rose posting pics of their car (which is very nice btw) and other posts it looked ok untill now

This is a car club and there is no need for it. Have a think what you posted today and be the better person and try and get on with people.

Upto speed now, things have been going very well I thought and I think its great to see you posting over here about things. Your input is greatly appreciated, as are your projects. It would be a shame to fall out over something so trivial. Your participance over here is a great step forward to being able to have meets occurring between both groups and a united scene.

Agree. I also look forward to your threads on your zed and wish I had half the talent you have Rose and we wont fall out over trivial things. Life is to short for all this aggro. So to keep the peace please no more digs at us because as you come from another club it look like you are putting us down and the simple way to keep the peace is to stop it.

I think you misunderstand my apology. It was for the way I handled the situation not for what I what I was actually meaning. Let's clear one thing up straight away, ! do not have a grudge against you. Do I like you? No, do I hate you? No. At best I would say I "nothing" you.

 

You have said that I have had three goes at you today and "previous ones". I assume by the previous one you mean when you jumped down Richards throat after he reminded you that registered users are not permitted to sell? I said what I did as I didn't like the way you immediately snapped at him for it. As a mod, I would have been remiss to have ignored your comments. That sort of behavior is neither wanted nor tolerated here and ANYONE guilty of it will receive the same. In fact I could have given you a 3 day ban for being disrespectful to a Committee member. Instead I issued a warning.

 

Do you honestly believe that we don't see what you post about 300zx.co.uk in other forums? It's well know that your own club is full of attacks and abuse aimed at this one. Many of which have either you or your husband slagging off our committee and mods.You've also recently had a post that was edited on Zclub the other day, accusing us of hijacking one of your meets. Which is simply not true! We know full well what you think of us, so please do not treat us as stupid. With the above in mind, of course we take some of your comments as thinly veiled digs at us. You have done nothing to prove otherwise. Putting a smilie at the end of your comments doesn't wash with me.

 

If you have come back to 300zx.co.uk to join in with the club, offer advice etc. Then you are most welcome but may I suggest that you keep the comments car related and think about what you post and how it will be perceived please. If, however you have just come back to cause arguments, then please leave. Neither our members nor mods/committee are interested in any inter-club rivalry, life is to short....

 

My apologies to the membership, however I felt that this needed to be said.

 

We all know where we stand and this is my last word on the matter. Hopefully this can all now go away and we can get on with moaning about and loving or zeds.

Well I've been a member here for some time now. Don't post much but have seen all the "friction".

 

What Rose put in the thread that was closed was a nothing comment and the reaction was disproportionate. If it had happened to me I would have been pissed.

 

Frankly, to a third party it looks like people were looking for a reason to have a go in this instance.

In both cases the threads were closed as they had run there course. The first that Mondo started had been answered and was going off topic and I deemed it had accused us of watching mikey, again not true. I have explained why in my other thread. I closed the second one as Rose had said what she wanted and it again would have trailed off into an argument.
