Just out of intrest at the moment from the back end of another thread but who on here would be intrested in a drive to Le mans 24hour meet.And camp for the weekend. We could meet up in our areas, for example i would meet guys in mc donalds car park in norwich say x time then meet up further down the line in say a petrol station on route down a11. then down to dartford were we meet up for lunch with the london crew and whom ever say at darftford service station. then down to dover folkstone crossing for the afternoon them have a planned place to meet down there say3 and so on and so forth.

Great idea and great thread which looks like it might get of the ground. I would love to go but again I am stuck in Belfast which would mean two ferries and more expense but lets see. Keep pushing on this guys and lets see a 300zx.co.uk convoy to Le Mans :yes:

 

Typical of the Irish sea Gary, most expensive shortest bit of water its ridiculous wot they charge, and they no how to charge as they no people have to use that route.

Le-Mans 2014 dates are 15-17 June. All campsites are open form the Wednesday to the Monday, but you don't want to arrive late Friday (chaos)

 

As for the cost difference, the Pistonheads package includes full club benefits, entertainment, facilities etc this includes Full English and evening meal for three days (£60 extra for Speedchills) and the pitches are full size not shared (see the pitch plans on the Speed Chills site.

 

Added benefit is we can arrive as and when individuals need to but still remain in a allocated area as a club, rather than being spread all over the site. Cost wise, a quick look suggest a premium of about 20-25% depending on Route, although Grandstands are cheaper with Piston heads should this be of interest.

Still up for this, I will go along with what the majority of people want.

Go steveE, you know you stuff and most prob got more time than i have. going with the piston heads seems to be a good idea cas now my brother and his mates are certenly intrested and they drive anything from db9s bently continetals and lambos and 8 ltr vets. its going to be a screem. cant wait. ill go with the morjority and camp with whom ever. have to have a look at some details when i get home and start bying tickets around exmas then plenty time to save for the fuel ect.

Spoke with Ted today, he said that he would be interested in this, any more news on this.

ill be getting my new start date soon in my new job three on and three off week shedule. thats what i work at the moment but waiting on logistics to give me a start date then i can say weather im in 100 percent cas ill know when im home or away.

Due to other commitments I will not be going to this.:(
